To achieve this, our mission is to provide cost-effective, "state of the art", quality products through research and development on a contunious basis. We are therefore committed to continue as a member of the Proudly South African campaign and adhering to ISO 9001 procedures to ensure our clients of only the best quality and service of our products at all times.

In October 2002, Medical Innovations qualified and became a member of the Proudly South African campaign confirming their commitment to the provision of the highest quality products and services to their customers.

ISO 9001:2000

In December 2005, Medical Innovations was accredited the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for establishing and applying a Quality Management System, which is recognised worldwide as an international standard for product design, manufacturing and servicing.

Products
The continuous feedback from doctors and hospital staff is used to refine existing product designs and to develop new products to meet their needs.

Over the years, Medical Innovations has specialised in the design and manufacture of the following range of products:

  • Operating tables and accessories
  • Service pendant/pedestals/panels for Critical Care Units and operating rooms
  • Materials handling system and storage devices i.e. linen, sterile supply, emergency, anaesthetic and procedure carts
  • General hospital equipment, i.e. stainless steel trolleys, surgeon scrub-ups, ceiling mounted brackets
  • Mounting solutions for medical systems
  • Containerised units for primary health care, pharmacies and operating rooms


Customer service

A Mobile Service Unit is available, ready to deliver service and maintenance to specialised hospital equipment throughout
South Africa.

Today, Medical Innovations’ operating tables and products are used in more than 100 hospitals countrywide and exported to countries such as Mauritius, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Kenya, Zambia
and Botswana.
