A bit about Medical Innovations
In 1988, Medical Innovations was formed and subsequently became recognised as a world renowned designer and manufacturer of quality hospital equipment boasting innovative engineering solutions.

Medical Innovations undertook the development and marketing of over 400 products.

In 1989, Medical Innovations exhibited certain of these products at the Interhospital Exhibition in Hanover, Germany.
The EMT-2 operating table obtained the GS/VDE quality approved certificate and won the prestigious Cullinan Design Award in 1990.

Products
The continuous feedback from doctors and hospital staff is used to refine existing product designs and to develop new products to meet their needs.

Over the years, Medical Innovations has specialised in the design and manufacture of the following range of products:

  • Service pendant/pedestals/panels for Critical Care Units and operating rooms
  • Materials handling system and storage devices i.e. linen, sterile supply, emergency, anaesthetic and procedure carts

Today, Medical Innovations’ operating tables and products are used in more than 100 hospitals countrywide and exported to countries such as Mauritius, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Kenya, Zambia and Botswana.
